So, as I said in my last post, Ranks are being completely revamped, adding in a new achievable rank of Veteran and also completely changing up how VIP works. There is a chance that some of these may change over time, but this is what we have right now.

Veteran
Achieved by playing at least 3 months on this server or more. Real world days judged from starting, with no long breaks inbetween plays. Players who have been on the server a month before the map change will automatically be rewarded the title of [Vet]

Achieved by donating $5 to the server or paying 25,000 coins (server currency) to the server. Last for 30 days.

why in the world does it last days. smh. this game is $25 and u donate up to $100 smh.

As you can see, all but the highest VIP levels can be paid for by coins. Plus you get weekly coin bonuses every week in VIP so you can pay for them every time it ends

Yeah but the thing is that they run out. "weekly" is every sunday. You'd only earn about 5-6 thousand coins.

I like this rank system, but maybe condense it into like 2 levels of VIP? Idk, we still have a ways to go with agreeing on exactly what we are gunna do.

I think the server should stick to in-game money. I never enjoy servers where people can have more than you just by paying real money.

Well the first thing I would do with money collected from the server is probably use it to build a small computer dedicated to the server. That way it doesn't run on my personal computer. Sometimes when I'm playing iRacing, GTR, or Dirt3 I worry that the server will be slowed down. Also, when I'm editing videos and rendering them into HD1080 my whole computer slows down a ton.

I could build something with a cheap GPU, an Intel i5, 8GB of ram, and maybe even an SSD.

I would most likely run Linux on the computer.

Most likely, in response to the time thing, we could just remove the time variable all together, or at least make it times longer and more worth it. And to Pissing's response, most of these VIP ranks can be bought with ingame money

Some people will pay. Some people are also just generous and will donate because they like us.
