Server is kinda glitchy for me

Whenever I log into the server, torches or glowstone don't produce a lot of light. It emits a small plus-shaped light and that's it. Sometimes, it puts patches of light. This ONLY happens to me on the server.

try changing your settings in minecraft and turn smooth lighting on. That may fix your problem.
