It were really a lot of things.
Being that the temp server was hosed on mike's laptop, it was not up 24/7. Mike also has big internet issues, keeping us from connecting at the times he was home.
Also, none of us were able to connect at the same time very often. It was hard when one person had an idea, built it, and then another person destroyed it because it wasn't part of their original idea of spawn.

The biggest thing is that all of us are busy and that our free time did not match up with mike's.

Also, this is not the whole map, just part of it.

Just joking! I thought you were using a texture pack for some reason??

Possibly you may have said something that got the idea rolling in my head but I feel like I had the idea for a ship shop a while ago. Not really sure tho.

That ship will function as the main server shop. It will be where players can by many items. Prices will be much higher than average retail in order to promote player-run economy. Players will not be able to regularly sell to the ship. A small room on the second deck will offer a place to buy (and sometimes sell) rare, special, enchanted, or cheap items. More on this later. Updates about that "special stuff" room will be posted in the Market page.

We are working as fast as possible to get it up, but hit the update speed bump. Unfortunately that will slow us down a bit but hopefully we will be finished by Thanksgiving.

I would like to try to help with things, creating this new server map, but mods and servers are difficult ( to me ) on a Mac computer. Still learning though....WWII Mods and such, what a pain.
I understand what it takes to do this stuff.... I myself just don't have the time.
So I appreciate you guys doing this!!

So, I just found out that another update is coming for 1.4.5 because of a bug in 1.4.4 . Basically the bug in 1.4.4 update will not allow you to play LAN (Local Network) Minecraft. Also, 1.4.5 update is supposed to be Tuesday (Tomorrow or next Tuesday?) to fix the problem. Lovely right!

Alright, so this update is not supposed to affect 1.4.4 servers!! yeh!!

Here is what they said: Mojang:Unfortunately we have to patch Minecraft again, this time to fix the broken LAN server functionality. Good news is that this only affects the client, so 1.4.5 clients will be able to play on 1.4.4 servers without any problems.

Yeah my friends have run into the problem in our dorm hall.

I think bukkit should be here in the next few days, so hopefully that doesn't hold us up much.

Mike is going on a family trip for thanksgiving and won't be able to work on mods durring that time. We were hoping to get this done before he had to leave, but the 1.4.4 update threw a stick in our spokes.

Almost all structures are done at this point, so we aren't waiting on that anymore. I really have a very limited knowledge of mod setup, but the sever may be handed over to me before Mike leaves so I can try to finish it.

We are doing the best we can! I am pretty booked with midterms and projects the rest of the week, so I can't do anything in that time.

Yep, I own a 1943 WWII Ford GPW Jeep, same thing as a Willys MB.
It's fun to drive, took me 5 years to find one, I have only owned it for a year.

The image hosting system on this site is a bit odd.

You have to host an image with their hosting system, then copy the link. Then you take the link and paste it into the "insert image" button, and it should pop up in the message.
