1.4 is coming out tommorow.

It will take a week or two for bukkit to update to 1.4, so we wont be changing anything until the bukkit release.

A week or two? So your saying once we update, the server is gonna be off?

Well, like pretty much every other modded server ever, 1.4 will be released, but 1.4 bukkit will not be.

This means that the server will continue to run the current version of 1.3 until bukkit 1.4 is released.

To keep playing this server, you just need to not update your client and you will be able to play.

Are you forreal? Another 2 weeks before map change. It's been about a month now.

It seems like a month. Ever since the announcement of the map change this server has been a ghost town 24/7.

Yeah no ones plays anymore its getting really boring

I figured. I never see anyone on now. Next time we change the map we are gunna pull an Apple and not tell you till the day of.

jk, we will probably just tell you all a week before, after we have already started building the new server.

The only reason we made it a big deal here is because of the ranking changes and all that jazz.

So you're saying your making a new server? Ranks. You basically killed ranks for us. I don't even give 2 flips about ranks now.

Are you turning on fire in the new map? I'm just wondering because I heard it is worse then before.

Im unsure of what you mean, but VETs will be able to place fire and lava, which is based on if people play regularly for about 3 months.

I mean that fire spread is worse then before, so, I personally don't want fire spread because I like wood.

Fire spread rate stays normal. I already updated. The only thing we need to worry about is "Wither Bosses."

They tear up buildings with bombs at a fast rate. I tested it myself. They are like ender dragons. If you get hit with a bomb, you lose health but dont get to see it. You'd have to make it so they don't do anything like creepers once they explode, or simply ban them since they are craftable mobs but provide nether stars which they drop for a beacon. To kill them you need flipping Superman weapons and Superman Undestructable armour...

how often do they spawn? If they are super super rare then we may keep them. We may also be able to reduce the blast strength so they dont cause as much damage.

No just keep them as they are. They don't spawn naturally, just by crafting them which is rather difficult.

They aren't hard to craft. Four soul sand and these skulls that you can camp at the nether for.

You can places ice wherever, but lava is only for VIPs now and on the new map, only for VETs
