Thought I would update this a little.
I repaired my driver seat last saturday, (yea!) previous owner had cut off the front leg mounts... The reason he did I am not sure? It came out looking really good though, for a first time welding, just needs paint now. Very Happy

Starting to take this old War Horse apart! After saving and finding all the parts for the past year, (2011-2012)
I'm finally starting to (But Slowly) work on it.
Also, Old Harold is almost 70 YEARS OLD! Shocked

Thought I would update a little, information on this Jeep.
built by Louisville, Ky Ford assembly plant, DoD (Date of Delivery) 12/31/42, Frame number GPW#90918,
Hood Number 20200440 (This is like a Car Tag, except it's a Military Tag).
I was right to say it was a 1943 model.... but apparently it was built just shy of 1/1/43. Smile

If you guys don't wan't my posting on this anymore just say so. Smile

I enjoy it! if people dont like it, they can just not look at it.

I love seeing people's car projects. I'd like to find one myself, or something my dad and I could both be dedicated to. I'd like to make his 1990 Corvette into an autocross car with him so we can race it together.
